Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Lacquer (lacquer.beauty), operated by Onyx Tech LLC, 815 Maple St, Santa Monica, CA 90405. By booking through Lacquer, on the website or through an AI assistant, you agree to them.

What Lacquer does

Lacquer lets you find nail salons, see their services, prices and open times, and book an appointment. Your appointment is with the salon, which provides the service and sets its prices. Prices shown are the salon's, and the final price is between you and the salon.

Bookings

• Bookings are real. Most are confirmed straight away and the salon holds the time; some salons confirm by text first.
• You can't cancel or change a booking online. Call the salon to do either.
• Book only for yourself, or for someone who has asked you to, with their real name and mobile number. The same applies to an AI assistant booking for you.
• Lacquer takes no payment. You pay the salon for your service.

Text messages

Booking sends a confirmation text to the number given, and reminders before the appointment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop them.

Acceptable use

Don't make bookings you don't intend to keep, use made-up names or numbers, or try to overload or misuse the service. We may limit or cancel bookings that look automated or abusive.

No warranty

We work to keep salon information and open times accurate, but salons manage their own details and Lacquer is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Onyx Tech LLC isn't liable for the services a salon provides or for indirect losses from using Lacquer.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. These terms are governed by California law. Questions: support@onyxtech.info.
